Re: Interview Questions
Just to dovetail on the above discussion: I checked the following book from the library. It has a great list of questions and really great suggested answers:
101 Toughest Interview Questions: And Answers That Win the Job!
The book is written by Daniel Porot and Frances Bolles Haynes. (Frances Bolles Haynes is the niece of Richard Nelson Bolles who authored "What Color is Your Parachute")
The first two chapters are
1) Understanding the Interviewers Concerns
2) Formulating Your Responses
The remainder of the book are the questions along with suggested answers divided into four sections:
Concern #1: Can You Do the Job?
Concern #2: Who Are You?
Concern #3: Will You fit into the Company?
Concern #4: What Will You Cost Us?
(Note that concern #2 is pretty much the same as #3 -- are you a "good fit?")
I *strongly* recommend it -- it gives you the question and then provides a "bullet list" of possible responses.
I borrowed it from the public library version, but if you want to purchase it, here's the Amazon link:
