Source merge?

Is there a way to merge two RPGLE source members into a third?

I was tasked with making a significant change to a program so I copied the live version into my library and got to work.
Before I could complete that change, an emergency arose so I made the fix in the live version.
Now back to the version in my library, I do not have the changes I made in the live version but need them so when I move my completed version to live, I do not overwrite the emergency fix I made.
