Posting here because my attempts to post in SQL keep glitching
I have heard people say that it is not good database design to define a table with an integrated primary key, and instead the primary key should be defined by a separate index/logical. But I have never found an explanation for it.
So my questions are:
Is/was this true for DDS files?
Is/was this true for SQL tables?
And if yes to either, why?
