Identifying uncommited changes?

A user job occasionally errors on ENDCMTCTL, saying there are uncommitted changes. But when I do a WRKJOB on that job, option 16 "Display commitment control status, if active", and option 5 "Display"against the only listed commitment definition (*JOB), it says Local pending changes = No ? Shouldn't this be Yes if there are uncommitted changes?

Also is there a way to find actual uncommitted changes using the journal? I like using SQL Display_Journal, but I don't know what indicates which entries are committed and which aren't.

Have you had a look at WRKCMTDFN, whether it delivers the information you need?
