  • JSP on AS/400.

    Hi,

I am new to Java on AS/400. I have this question in mind.

How do we run JSP programs on the AS/400? Is it done using IBM Websphere Application Server? If anyone could briefly outline the steps or give any pointers to the same, it would be very helpful?

    Thanks,
    Subha.

    Re: JSP on AS/400.

JSPs run on an application server, which works in tandem with an HTTP server. The HTTP server that runs on i5/OS V5R3 is APACHE. The application server most often used is WebSphere Application Server (WAS). Version 6.0 is the latest. However, TOMCAT is also available, and very popular.

    This website
has plenty of information on WAS.
