    Anybody know the parameter to pass with cwbcfg to set the default path for iSeries access for windows?

    Tyring to set my path for my profile to store my macros, WS files, KB etc. Instead of using the default of program files/IBM/Client Access/Emulator/Private.

    Cause I am on a stupid shared PC using a stupid Expansion box and all the other stupdis on the box also share the private directory but ya can't write to that folder...stupid eh?

    Thnx

      Re: iSeries Access

      Thnx GLS...I see that now. But it does me no good. I want to store macros not in the private folder. Of course I can't store them there, don't have permission to write in that folder....duh

      I create macros often and place them on the tool bar. I have my tool bar set in the WS file.

      RuleLinePos=0 0
      [Toolbar]
      BarFile=C:\My Documents\tool.BAR
      [LastExitView]
      A=3 66 87 853 533 3 11 16 400 0 IBM3270— 37

      Wondering if I can do the same for macro storing:

      [macros]
      Macrofile=c:\My Documents\
      or something like that..
      Would be nice.

      Thnx Bill

        OH BTW...I can't even start->run on the stupid PC, not even dos prompt, not even run sol.exe...not even change the background color.....

        Might was well be a 3477 terminal for all it's worth.

          fill in the macro/script directory
