  • qzdasoinit jobs

    Something has changed on my system where jobs that run named QZDASOINIT no longer close down the files from the previous service request. Not sure I am calling that the right thing, but these are where all my stored procedures run; that is, a job named QZDASONIT handles the request (call to RPG, etc.). The same job can handle one, then another, then another, etc. Between each request the job used to clear the job log and no files would be open. That is no longer happening. They did move these jobs to another subsystem, so maybe there is a setting that was not configured properly. Anyone know what that setting might be, or am I even making any sense? Thanks for any help you can give me!

    Try this:
    DSPSBSD SBS()
    10. Prestart job entries
    5=Display details -- against QZDASOINIT

    Check all the settings and see if anything jumps out. If you can find the old prestart job entries, compare the old & new.

      Thanks. Yep. I tried that. Everything looks the same, and nothing related to state, or persistence, or anything like that...
