html to pdf in batch

I was working at another company when I had access to a utility that would take html (in a spool file) and convert it to a pdf in the same design as if it were printed. I've done quite a bit of research and I cannot find a native or "free tool" to accomplish this "exact" feature (convert html to pdf with simple formatting).

I wanted to make sure I did not overlook any available html to pdf solutions before going with a different solution.

(I do not have the ability to edit my post). I wanted to re-clarify that I am looking to call a program and tell the program where the html file is on the ifs (or a pf/splf) and convert that to pdf.

We are using the tool HTMLDOC to convert html-files to pdf-files directly on our IBMi
