Index in Qtemp

Hi, will an index created in QTEMP be shared by other jobs? And when index advisor mentions that the estimated index creation time is 10 mins and if the create index statement is executed should I expect the statement to run for about 10 mins or does it build the index in the background?

No anything in QTEMP is not share across jobs. Why create the index in QTEMP?
