  • Print issue

    Hi All,

I am printing the form with I-series data, I am getting some special charcters like percentage smiley.... in printed one.

But when I check the spool file , the spool contents are actual data.

Please let me know is it printer issue ?

    Thanks,
    Sudha..

    Re: Print issue

I would check the CCSID of the spool file. If this is printing to a PC printer, my guess is the CCSID is wrong, and thats affecting the printer output when it actually prints.

      Re: Print issue

What is the printer configuration? Are we talking an emulated printer session from a connected PC; an IP printer on the network; printer hanging off a parallel port of a dumb terminal? Then you need to look at the actual printer's setup - as Michael indicated, the printer may be expecting a certain code page but it is not getting that.
