No! Just check CRTPRTF and you'll see the maximum width is 378.
If your row consists of 1024 characters, you have to wrap it into several rows.
BTW have you ever thought about how a (printed) spoolfile with 1024 characters / line would look like?
The reason I need 1024 width is, I need to print a tag in ZIBRA printer. I have converted the tag images and constant data in to an ASCII format and having that in a PF. Now I’m trying to print the PF which has this width 1024. And I’m expecting to connect the ZIBRA printer to AS400 and print this file and generate the tag.
If you have any other ways of doing this plz let me know, I really value your information …
I print to zebra printers 2000 times a day...well not personally
Im not sure why you need 1024.
can you post what you are trying to print?
I can send it to a zebra and @ least show you what the spooled file looks like.
I will be sending it to a zebra 4m.

All my answers were extracted from the "Big Dummy's Guide to the As400"

This is the label I need to print. I need to change the tag information (^FD# -----infor-----^FS) using an RPG program to print dynamic tags. Also this needs to be print automatically.
