  • Upload leading zeros

I'm trying to upload a csv file. The first field has (and needs) leading zeros, but when I run the data transfer (TFR file), it looses them. The FDF has the field as a type 1. I tried setting the "Allow numeric data in character columns to be converted to character data" checkbox, but it didn't help. Please help!

Can your export program treat it as character? That is - can you put quotes around the first field?

Well, this is very embarrassing. I just found that the file I was uploading was an older version that didn't have leading zeros. When I discovered that and pointed to the correct file, it worked just fine. So sorry. Thanks for the help!
