  • Right adjust zero fill, Keyboard shift attribute (A)

I have a alphanumeric field defined in my display file for which i have the Right adjust zero fill as "Y" and Key board shift attribute as "A". But, when i am inputting, the attributes does not seem to work.

EG: My field is 10 long and if i input something as 234567 i should get 0000234567. How is this possible? Is there some keyboard mapping that needs to be done for this. Please let me know.

You should get 0000234567. I set one up just like you did and that's what it gives. Are you saying you are getting something else?

You mean you have a zero-fill on an alpha-numeric field?
Then, it must be the program that is formatting the entry, not the screen.
