  • Generating SQL from Table

In Navigator, there's an option to generate the associated SQL for a "Create Table" ... has anyone done this with the WDSC interface? Or, is that an option at all outside Navigator?

    Thanks!!

I've been using RDi v7.5 for months now, and I can generate DDL by right-clicking on database objects in the Data Source Explorer view within the Data perspective. The context menu contains a link that starts the "Generate DDL" wizard. I can't remember if WDSc v7.0 had these capabilities or not, though. Do you have a Data perspective?

You can do a reverse with other products like squirrel : http://squirrel-sql.sourceforge.net/ or other free products.
Also, Squirrel can make reverse statement with INSERT for a table with data (Navigator can't do it)
