    Good Morning,
When defining a new command, is there a way to have the command retrieve and display certain values, either from a file or data area, without using a keyparm and a pop?
Everyday's a school day, what grade are you in?

why not just specify a default value for those keywords? it's on the PARM command.other than that the only way i know of would be to use a prompt override program (PMTOVRPGM keyword on the PARM command)
