How can I start the iSeries Client Access 5250 Emulator without having the sign on window pop up? On some machines it starts without the user having to enter a password. Others it requires a password. One PC is even worse -- it defaults the user ID to the person who used to have the PC so the person starting the 5250 Emulator has to change the UserID as well as manually enter the password.

Re: iSeries Access -- Sign On/Password Required
you'll have to go into the Client Access controls and change the settings there. you can do this using Navigator and right click on the connection.I'm not anti-social, I just don't like people -Tommy Holden

Re: iSeries Access -- Sign On/Password Required
Start the emulation session, click Communications / Configure / Propoerties and select the signon option you want. You can also change the "Default user id" if yuo choose to use it. Make sure to "Save" on the way out.
