refering zoned decimal from printer file

  • refering zoned decimal from printer file

    hi,

    could anyone tell me how to refer a zoned decimal field from a printer file?
    i have a 14S 2 DB field which i am refering from printer file--
    <............>
    99999999999999

    but it doesnt display the decimal point.

    eg :
    DB field value is 12345678901.12
    value printed is 01234567890112


    please help

    When you enter your field you can just put the decimals in.

    12345678901.12 then do your DF (define field) this will create an edit word.

    --or-- just place cursor on your 1234567890112 field and press the F16 key.
    look for edit code place a 2 on it and select the appropriate edit code.... "J" "4" ?????
