Does anyone know of or use a Freeware File Shredder that would meet PCI / SOX compliancy?

Hammer is not freeware, you must pay for the hardware license at your nearest hardware supplier.

I'm waiting on Paper and Scissors now...

Actually, we ended up going with a MS product called SDELETE (by Sysinternals - www.sysinternals.com)

It gives us the flexibility for passes and recursion etc... and we already had it.

            Go figure!
