running a rpg program from pc

is there a way to run rpg/cl program from pc?
i know it can be done from excel,i need to run it from c#.

I believe thier is a .net interface for client access.

I know it can be done in JAVA using the toolbox and PCML or just about any language that has a way to execute SQL using a stored procedure. I've never used c# but there may be examples out there.
