As you may know, SECTCP is a Easy400.net public source utility for IBM i intended to provide secure access to FTP and TELNET.
Access FTP is usually performed by loggin with an existing user profile.
However, when your FTP users are many and need to access different data, you may not like to provide each of them with a different user profile.
This new SECTCP feature provides access validation through validation lists instead of user profiles, thus substantially reducing the number of needed user profiles, while providing each user with a different home directory.
