So I have a trial version of RDi installed and find it very nice for RPG programming and I'm sure there are lots of things I haven't discovered yet.
However, I have to say I'm very disappointed that those nice features present in RPG seem to be completely absent from the CL editor. Why doesn't it list the CL variables in the outline pane? Why aren't any files declared listed there? The files in particular I find great as I can expand it to show the field names. In CL I have to either load the source or go to a 5250 session and do a DSPFFD. And CL offers no template support so if I enter SELECT for instance, it doesn't add the ENDSL after. Not to mention Ctrl-Space to show possible options for what you've entered so far and a host more absent features. It's a pity IBM haven't considered the CL part of this or is just limited in the trial version?
