sql and system catalogue files

I'm really needing a way to find fields defined in display files that have a direct relation (by field name) to a field defined in a table/pf,.
I have used system cat files before and know they are full of very helpful info. such as this.. but which files are best for this situation?

Catalog views handle only database objects, but display files are no database objects and in this way not handled.
You may check whether the DSPFFD (Display Field File Description) CL Command with an outfile returns what you are looking for.
