IBM have said that they are withdrawing support for AnyNet after V6R1. This is to say that SNA connections currently running over AnyNet connectors should continue to function, but if support is required at later releases (V7R1 etc) then tough.
I have done a little google research (eg) http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/is...ajtanytoee.htm and it seems that the two can be configured side by side as long as new controllers etc are created.
With regards to applications that are using SNA over AnyNet. It looks to me that if the connections are changed to use EE from an APPN connection point of view then this looks to be seamless to the applications sitting on top of the connections - Is that right or have I missed the main point?
Has anyone done this migration before and have any pointers to share?
Also - how do I detect what processes are using SNA connections ...
