  • CPYFRMIMPF - error handling

    Hi,

In the following command, i'm haivng comma(,) as the delimiter.

    CPYFRMIMPF FROMSTMF(&PATH) TOFILE(*LIBL/DNWATRF +
    &FILE) MBROPT(*REPLACE) RCDDLM(*CRLF) +
    STRDLM(*NONE) STRESCCHR(*NONE) +
    FLDDLM(',') DECPNT(*PERIOD)
    MONMSG MSGID(CPF2817) EXEC(DO)

In the above command how to throw error message, if the delimiter is semicolon( in the stream files ?

    Please suggest.

Don't know how, but why not just read a record in the file afterwards and see if you get good data, if not, then do the copy again with another del. Or just read the IFS file directly and see what is in it.
