  • Map Network Drive, What SMB version goes where ?

Hello, what needs to be done to map a network drive these days ? In Windows 10 I am trying to map a network drive to the IFS, OS400 V7R1. I get an error message that I cannot connect, share requires obsolete SMB1 protocol. Your system needs SMB2.

My Windows 10 PC appears to be running SMB 1.0/CIFS. Do I need to upgrade to V7R2 or is there a workaround ?

I don't know how to set up or control an IFS share.

But I do know that while Windows 10 does have support for SMB1, Microsoft recently pushed an update to disable it if the system had not used it in some amount of time. You can manually re-enable it, I forget how but I'm sure Google will tell you.
