Printing a stream file from IFS to a printer (PDF specifically)
I'd like to print to network printers directly from stream files (PDFs) on the IFS. Does anyone know how best to accomplish this? I'd like the solution to be on the IBMi (not passing the work off to a PC or wintel server).

If your printer supports it, you can just FTP the PDF directly, or dump it to an ASCII spooled file for printing. There's a utility on the YiP's site that uses Ghostview to print PDF's. Another option is PDFBox, which is a Java library.
