How to check the particular file in FTP

Hi All,

How could I check the particular file in FTP?
Suppose I have a FTP server.In that I want to check the particular file. If it is there. I have to call another CLP.
Is there any possible way to find it?. Kindly advise me.

So from Server AA, FTP to Server BB? AA wants to know if BB has a file? Get the File, see if you got it, if so call XXX.

Or you could do a list and send it disk and get the file and parse it.

Or is this different?
