  • CPF3156 When CPYF From 1 System To Another Using DDMF

I am attempting to replicate data from one system to another using a DDM file. The DDM file resides on the source system that I am attempting to perform a CPYF from. When I attempt a CPYF, I receive a CPF3156 (file in use). When I go to the target system, the only job that has a shared lock on the file is the QUSER job that running the CPYF. I tried performing a ALCOBJ with CONFLICT(*RQSRLS) but the CPYF still fails for the same reason. What is odd about this is that I can copy other files. I ensured this file has the same authority on both systems. The only difference I can see is the file that will not copy has a LF attached to it that resides in another library. So I tried removing the LF's and I still get the same problem. I also ensured that there were no triggers on the target file.

    Has anyone experienced this?
