  • Xerox 4265 - *AFPDS with overlay problems

We have new HP and Xerox printers that are being installed but are having issues with overlays. One example is a Xerox 4265. Xerox provided the configuration to use, which included a workstation customizing object. When we first printed the form, there was a lot of overlapping, so after researching found that using raster mode could take care of this, and it did. We changed raster mode to yes for both scs and afp in the wscst. Now the overlay lines up perfectly with the data, but the right side is cut off(overlay and data). We're able to change the right and left margins, but no matter what the margins are, the right side still gets cut off. Any recommendations?

First recommendation is to show us at least the result of DSPFD for the printer files. Second is to post an image of a resulting spooled file. Those might make it easier to guess what might be happening or at least to know what questions to ask to track it down..

There are only two hard things in Computer Science: cache invalidation, naming things and off-by-one errors.

Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
