Hi,
I saved a lot of code as text files for utilities I wrote to my cloud storage for later use. Now I have the opportunity to use some of them but am a bit perplexed as to how to get them to the 400. I saved them originally by running a windows batch file a co-worker wrote for me which used several 'mget' commands and then renamed each member so I knew what was CL, CMD, RPG, PRTF, PNLGRP or whatever.
I've been downloading each file to my office pc then using a simplified batch file to 'put' the file into whatever source file it belonged in. This is taking too much time and I figure there must be a quicker way.
As you've probably guessed, batch files are not my thing and research has led me nowhere meaningful. What I'm hoping for is a batch file that I can run from a folder on my pc with multiple source members and put each one into the proper source file as it's own member. I'm not concerned about their names as I can rename them once I get them where they belong.
Any help would be much appreciated.
