I have been tasted with exporting the database and data from an AS400 sitting in the corner of our server room on the floor. But haven't a clue where to start. any advice or pointing in the right direction would be greatly appreciated
If you're using a relatively recent OS version, there's a command called CPYTOIMPF that can be used to export a table (also called "physical file") to CSV format.
