  • Capture Customer's Signature?

Wondering if anyone has implemented equipment to capture a signature? We have an IBM i green-screen program that accepts credit application information from the customer. When it's all complete, a spoolfile report is created and physically printed so that the customer can sign it. We need that signature, but then we're stuck with a piece of paper that needs to be stored, etc., so we end up then scanning the form back in to store it. It would be great to capture that signature on a small signature pad and be able to associate it with the credit application, print a copy for the customer but not need to keep the paper or re-scan ourselves.

Has anyone done anything like this?

we use ICS signature manager, the app works on iPad & Android tablets and works very well for us. http://www.formsprint.com/html/sigmanager.htm
